About Us

Gopal's Healthfoods begins with the unique story of a man inspired to share the spirituality he had learned during his travels to India here in the United States. Upon his arrival back to the states, Stefan Knueppel began traveling the country in an RV selling books about higher consciousness, but he soon realized that food might be a more effective way to reach people.

 

Stefan started this journey in San Diego, California making snack bars by hand, and distributing them to local health food stores. He saw a need for high-quality snack products that were created with ingenuity and spiritual zeal. In no time at all, his “spiritual snacks” took off and in 2002 Stefan opened Gopal's Healthfoods introducing a new line of organic, raw, and plant-based snacks. Since then we have grown, and are now currently nestled in the heart of Texas on 100 acres of prairie land. Many of the people who work at Gopal's even live on-site, and are part of a developing spiritual community.

Since the beginning, Gopal's has been developing its own unique brand of health food and selling it throughout the United States, and has many loyal customers. We even sell it internationally to those whom enjoy sharing their love and excitement about these products. Their enthusiasm helps the company grow by spreading our sense of spirituality and vision.

The line has expanded and now includes a variety of unique, quality products such as the Power Wraps, Rawma Bars, Rawmesan, Sprouties, and a diverse 

assortment of nut and seed butter, quickly becoming legendary among the raw and plant-based communities.
